Mia Whittemore

Mia Whittemore is a Massachusetts-based artist and surface designer. She graduated with a BFA in art education from Boston University, where she studied various art disciplines and soon after began creating prints and products with her artwork.

Through the use of acrylic gouache and digital techniques, Mia's current work explores florals, botanicals, and patterns. Mia draws inspiration from her love of vintage design and art history - she has always been so drawn to the tradition of florals in decorative art, whether it be a floral adorned antique vase in a museum or a vintage bouquet needlepoint in a secondhand shop.

Mia finds great joy in painting and hopes to bring that joy to others through her work.
